Nokia launches 3 mobile phones Mobile phone maker Nokia on Sunday launched three high end mobile phones for Bangladesh market to cater to the growing demand of such phones. The phones equipped with internet, video and music facilities would be available in the market from April 25. Prem Chand, general manager of Emerging Asia, Nokia launched the phones, Nokia N95, Nokia 5700 XpressMusic and Nokia 8800 Sirocco Gold, at Hotel Sheraton. The Nokia N95 is an all-in-one multimedia computer with a pioneering 2-way slide concept, integrated GPS functionality, a 5 megapixel camera and support for high-speed mobile networks, which will make it easier to watch and record videos, listen to songs, take high-quality photos, browse the Internet or catch up on email while on the move. `The Nokia N95 brings a range of multimedia features together, such as a fantastic display, outstanding photo and video capability and high-speed connectivity, making it an excellent multimedia computer,' said Prem Chand. Its price will be Tk 55,000. The Nokia 5700 XpressMusic features an iconic twist design that switches between 4 modes – music player, 2 Megapixel camera, video call and smart phone. It combines the benefits of a music-oriented, multipurpose device with 3G data speeds. `Like its name suggests, the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic is a music-first mobile device, augmented by a dedicated audio chip for enhanced music performance, ' he said. It will be available at Tk 24,500. Encased in a luxurious 18-carat gold plating, the precisely crafted from techniques mastered over hundreds of years by watchmakers and jewellers, Nokia 8800 Sirocco Gold combines timeless design with a contemporary flair, resulting in an exclusive display of personal style and elegance, a Nokia release said. `The Nokia 8800 Sirocco Gold is set to continue Nokia's strong legacy in exclusive and highly desirable style accessories, ' explains Prem Chand. The phone will be available at Tk 80,000.
